Julián flying in Puig de Sta. Magdalena, near Inca.Flight: The flying area has its own peculiarities, days of strong wind can leave you flying below the launch pad, where as a day of light winds and a small thermal can take you 500 m. above the pad. The days with thermal tend to result in a good distance flight although  sometimes because of an inversion the flight can be very turbulent reaching only 100 m. above.

Michel flyng at Inca For both wind directions the maximum distance in a straight line has been achieved 45 km. to the East until “El Faro de Cala Ratjada” and 35 km. to the Northeast until “El Faro de Formentor”.
